YOU’RE HIRED WITH PERKESO

SEPTEMBER 29, 2025 | MONDAY | PEARL HALL MAIN

English Language Unit, Department of General Studies has organized the “You’re Hired” Program with PERKESO which emphasizes the preparation aspect of students in facing the job environment.

The program is aimed at 4th and 5th semester students from the Department of Electrical Engineering as well as the Department of Commerce, with the aim of providing early exposure to the career opportunities available in the current market. Among the main topics highlighted include the importance of building a quality resume, basic skills that graduates must possess, as well as important needs to pay attention to before stepping into the job world.

Through the partnership with PERKESO, students not only acquire information about career paths and job opportunities, but also understand essential requirements before stepping into the world of employment. The program is hopefully able to increase students’ level of readiness to compete competitively as well as adapt to industry needs.

POLITEKNIK MERSING JOHOR (PMJ) MENGHADIRI MAJLIS SAMBUTAN 100 TAHUN MAJLIS AGAMA ISLAM NEGERI JOHOR (MAINJ) DAN MULTAQA ULAMA’ DARUL TA’ZIM KALI KE-9

JOHOR BAHRU, 30 SEPTEMBER 2025 – Majlis yang disempurnakan oleh YAM Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Temenggong Johor sebagai wakil rasmi DYAM Tunku Mahkota Ismail, Pemangku Sultan Johor di Pusat Konvensyen Antarabangsa PERSADA, Johor Bahru turut dihadiri 32 orang pelajar DSK2A PMJ bersama pensyarah pengiring, Ustaz Suffian bin Mohd Fabilah.

PMJ mengucapkan tahniah kepada MAINJ dan berterima kasih atas segala pencapaian dan juga sumbangan selama 100 tahun dalam pembangunan ummah, kebajikan, dan sosial Islam di negeri Johor.

Para pelajar dan tetamu yang lain juga berkesempatan menyertai pelbagai program dan menyaksikan aneka pameran berkaitan jasa-jasa, sejarah, dan tokoh-tokoh MAINJ dalam memperkukuhkan institusi agama Islam di Johor.

Politeknik Mersing Johor telah melakar kejayaan yang membanggakan di Anugerah PolyCCSustAward 2025 yang berlangsung pada 29 September 2025 bertempat di Hotel Casuarina @ Meru, Ipoh, Perak yang bertemakan Innovation Towards Sustainability Empowerment.

Majlis tersebut dianjurkan oleh SmartGreen, Bahagian Kurikulum, dan JPPKK dengan kerjasama Politeknik Ungku Omar.

PMJ berjaya menerima 3 anugerah bagi 3 Bidang Tumpuan iaitu :

1) Anugerah Terbilang Kemampanan – Johan :

Bidang Tumpuan 1 : Pengurusan Pendidikan & Penyelidikan

2) Anugerah Terbilang Kemampanan – Johan :

Bidang Tumpuan 7 : Perolehan Hijau

3) Anugerah Gemilang Kemampanan – Naib Johan:

Bidang Tumpuan 3 : Pengurusan Alam Sekitar & Landskap

Politeknik Mersing juga turut menerima Anugerah UI GreenMetric World University Ranking 2024 dengan kedudukan ke-618.

Tahniah dan syabas diucapkan kepada pasukan SmartGreen PMJ atas dedikasi dan komitmen yang telah ditunjukkan dalam menggalas tanggungjawab menjaga kelestarian alam sekitar. Semoga kejayaan ini menjadi pendorong untuk Politeknik Mersing Johor terus terbang tinggi dalam memperkukuhkan amalan kelestarian di masa hadapan!

STRATEGIC COLLABORATION CERTIFICATE SIGNING CEREMONY

8 October 2025 – The leadership line as well as the Corporate, Industrial, Services and Employability Center (CISEC) Unit of Polytechnic Mersing Johor (PMJ) have organized a Certificate Signing Ceremony for Strategic Collaboration with seven industries and government agencies in the Department of Polytechnic Education and Community College (JPPKK), Ministry of Higher Education, Putrajaya.

This ceremony was completed by PMJ Director, Ts. Dr. Robert @ Kerk Swee Tian, accompanied by Deputy Director, Pn. Azreen binti Khamis, along with the following collaboration partners:
