An Industry Advisory Committee (JPI) Meeting has been successfully held on 24 June 2025 located in CyberSecurity Malaysia, Cyberjaya. This meeting was chaired by Dato’ Ts. Dr. Hj. Amirudin bin Abdul Wahab, Chief Executive Officer of CyberSecurity Malaysia.
Mersing Polytechnic is represented by the highest management of the institution along with the CISEC PMJ Unit, with active involvement from industry representatives such as Cytron Technologies Sdn Bhd, Yann Rifft Empire, Akar Indah Engineering, Supreme Didactic, Cool Code, SL Cybersec Solutions, Suria General Supplier and Jun Chong Company Sdn BhD.
This meeting became an important platform in strengthening the strategic cooperation between PMJ and industry parties. Among the main agendas discussed include:
Collaboration in professional certification for improvement of students’ skills
Support for TVET grant projects
Student development through training opportunities and industry guidance
Implementation of the Micro-Credential program with industry
Sharing of input and improvement proposals between education sector and industry
Through this meeting, PMJ remains committed to strengthening the TVET education ecosystem that continues to require the current industry as well as opening up more holistic development opportunities for its students.
