English Language Unit, Department of General Studies has organized the “You’re Hired” Program with PERKESO which emphasizes the preparation aspect of students in facing the job environment.

The program is aimed at 4th and 5th semester students from the Department of Electrical Engineering as well as the Department of Commerce, with the aim of providing early exposure to the career opportunities available in the current market. Among the main topics highlighted include the importance of building a quality resume, basic skills that graduates must possess, as well as important needs to pay attention to before stepping into the job world.

Through the partnership with PERKESO, students not only acquire information about career paths and job opportunities, but also understand essential requirements before stepping into the world of employment. The program is hopefully able to increase students’ level of readiness to compete competitively as well as adapt to industry needs.
