Intelligent Students Use Advocacy Program has been organized by KPDN Mersing in cooperation with the Mersing Polytechnic Student Affairs Department on September 11, 2024 last. As many as 100 students consisting of Heads and Asstants of Class Representatives each semester have been selected to participate in this program. This program is very timely to increase user awareness among the students of Mersing Polytechnic. Among the program fillings are the Intelligent Consumer Explorace and the Malaysian Consumer Claims Tribunal Lecture delivered by Tuan Jashua bin Mohd Mokhtar capturing the Johor TTPM Officers.

This program has been officiated by Tuan Norazmi bin Yakob as the Head of KPDN Mersing Branch. Also present are Mrs. Azreen Khamis, Deputy Director and Mr. Mohd Fairullah Muhammadon, Head of the Student Affairs Department, Mersing Polytechnic. As users, learners should understand their rights and play their respective roles and responsibilities to curb consumer fraud and merchant misconduct. Hopefully the students who attend will become knowledgeable, intelligent and responsible consumer agents not only to themselves but to the society. Hopefully such programs can be organized again in the future in an effort to produce the next informed and intelligent consumer generation to further strengthen the sustainability of the society and the country.
